Dr. Bess Principal Announcement
Dr. Bess has 16 years of experience in education, including 11 years in various administrative and leadership roles. His career includes positions such as Principal, Athletic Director, Elementary and High School Assistant Principal, Head Basketball Coach, Assistant Football Coach, and Special Education Teacher. He most recently served as the High School Principal for Coldspring-Oakhurst for the past four years. His journey in education began at Magnolia Junior High, where he spent four years teaching English Language Arts and coaching.
“I am excited to return to Magnolia ISD, where my career began,” said Dr. Bess. “It is an honor and privilege to continue my dedication to public education in this wonderful community.”
Dr. Bess attended Texas A&M University and Sam Houston State University, where he earned his Doctor of Education Administration and Master of Education Administration degrees, along with his Bachelor of Science degree.
