Band n' BBQ Fundraiser

BB6th Honor Band & All BBJH Bands will have a fundraiser on Friday, April 17. It will be in the BBJH Cafeteria from 6 to 8 p.m. You can BUY your Presale dinner tickets now from the band directors. They will be on sale until April 6 for $10. LIMITED tickets at the door wll be $15. Dinner tickets include a chopped BBQ chopped sandwich, beans, green beans, potato salad and tea/lemonade.

Jr. High Visit

Our students took a mini field trip over to BBJH on March 3 to learn about next year's academic and elective class choices. They heard from several administrative staff members as well as elective teachers. Students are going home today with course handbooks and selection sheets for the 2015-2016 school year. These are due back on March 6 with all appropriate signatures.

MISD Phone System is Down

The MISD phone system is currently experiencing problems with inbound phone calls. If you have an emergency and need to get in contact with someone at a campus or district employee, please call the emergency number: 281-259-8383 and your message will be routed. The district can make outbound calls and email is working.

5th grade parents are invited to attend an informational meeting on Tuesday, February 24. There will be two meeting times, 1:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Meetings will be in the cafeteria at BB6.

Our students competed in the district UIL competition this past Saturday. The students have been working hard to prepare for the competition and we congratulate all of our students on their participation in this academic event! Below is a list of the events and the winners.
