Welcome to BBIS 6th Grade ELAR!
My name is Nancy Wilson, and I am so excited to be here with you in 6th grade at Bear Branch Intermediate. Great things are happening at this school, and I am looking forward to a fun, memorable school year full of laughter and learning!
It doesn't seem that long ago that I graduated from Sam Houston State University, but I am now beginning my 17th year in education. I have taught third through sixth grade. This will be my 12th year to teach in Magnolia, and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else!
My family and I reside in this wonderful district. My son will be a sophomore and my daughter will be a freshman. We stay pretty busy with all of our after-school activities. You can usually find me in the bleachers somewhere cheering my kids on in whatever sport they are in at that time. They keep my husband and I running all over the place!
Teaching is not just a job to me. I truly love and enjoy what I get to do every day. One of the best things about my job is the relationships I get to build with my students and their families. It has been such an honor and privilege to work with so many amazing families. I hope that you will contact me if ever you should have a question or concern. I look forward to working alongside you and your students to help them reach their fullest potential as readers, writers, and thinkers. It's going to be a great year!
