About the Club:
UIL Chess Puzzles is an academic event that allows students to compete with other Magnolia Intermediate students. Students who already know how to play chess are the ones who normally do the best at this event. During the competition the students will be taking a Chess Puzzle test. They will have a limited amount of time to complete the test. Students will need to make sure to make it to every practice to qualify for the event, we will be limited to the number of students who can compete. We will be meeting twice a month until winter break. Then we will be meeting weekly to prepare for the competition. Specific information about the competition location, date, and time will be coming out at a later date.
